Procedure for e-submission
Customers wishing to apply for marketing authorisations for veterinary medicinal products from the Food and Veterinary Service of Latvia can and are encouraged to do so electronically.
The electronic submission procedure can be used for new marketing authorisation applications, variations, renewals, response documents, PSURs and ASMFs etc.
Submissions for veterinary electronic applications must conform to the VNeeS standard. As of 1st January 2016 is mandatory submit new applications for DCPs in VNeeS format.
Electronic documentation can be submitted in the following ways:
• Via CESP
Please visit cesp.hma.eu for more information about the Common European Submission Platform (CESP). Requirements for using CESP system: Zip and Submission Guidelines questions related CESP, please send to support email address firstname.lastname@example.org
• Via Eudralink to the e-mail address email@example.com
Option No. 3
• Via the following e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org validated with a secure digital signature (created using a secure digital signature formation method and confirmed with a certificate).
• On CD/DVD format submitted together with signed cover letter in a paper format to postal address: Peldu street 30, Rīga LV-1050, Latvia
! Please use only one delivery option. Sending double submissions leads to confusion and delay processing of the application.

Paper copies of documentation is still accepted.
