On Thursday, February 20th, Minister of Agriculture Armands Krauze met with Gudrun Masloh, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Latvia, to discuss potential areas of collaboration in agriculture and food production.

During the meeting, both sides explored opportunities for bilateral cooperation to achieve shared goals. They also reflected on Minister Krauze’s recent visit to Germany, where he participated in the renowned “Green Week” and “BIOFACH” exhibitions, highlighting the importance of fostering innovation in the agricultural sector.

Both Minister Krauze and Ambassador Masloh emphasized the potential for deepening trade relations, enhancing sectoral cooperation, and strengthening institutional ties between Latvia and Germany, paving the way for mutual growth in the agriculture and food production sectors.
